- Hi Tom,

- I' too, am a loyal TYIN2000. Even today (with all that hype about
- voice modems) it is still considered the best (in terms of voice
- quality and reliability) by developers and users alike.
- The only lacking feature is it's low DATA speed (2400bps) but for
- VoiceMail and FAX performance is great and reliability unequaled. I
- have many times evaluated other voice products (both Rockwell as well
- as Cirrus Logic based chipsets, coupled with various Voicemail S/W
- such as Supervoice and Faxworks) hoping to get improved features. But
- after a few PC crashes and loosing important messages I always
- returned to my faithfull old TYIN2000. So I simply solved my problems
- by developing the features I needed. Now, I've been suggested to offer
- them on the net for the benefit of other users (this is my first
- shareware experience).
-
- For further info, please email me directly (I don't want to get flamed
- for advertizing here!) and I will provide you (and any other
- interested party) with info and even a free demo via email (until my
- web site is up and running). The s/w itself will not be expensive.

-
- That's a different story, because the TYIN4000 is much more complex to
- interface with and is actually more rare than the TYIN2000. I myself
- couldn't get it so I got a cheap 14.4kbps modem for DATA mode only.
- The development of my utils for the TYIN4000 depends on user demand.

- My pleasure...
